From cats to crocodiles, baboons to birds, discover which animals made perfect pets in ancient Egypt this half-term, with our children’s holiday workshops!

Explore the museum collection to find the many different animals the ancient Egyptians loved to take care of both at home and in the temples. Build your own pop-up house for them to live in and design your own mythical animal perfect for the gods. Then practice your skills of mummification so they might live forever and make your very own cat-mummy craft and falcon finger puppets to take home with you!

Suitable for ages 6-11
10 am - 3 pm
Wednesday 31 May – Friday 2 June
Tickets are £20 per child.

(The same workshop is repeated each day)
Parents are to drop children off in the morning and collect them at the end of the workshop.
Please provide your children with a packed lunch.
