Speaker's Biography

Sarah Bater is a non-practising solicitor, having qualified into employment law at a national law firm in 2010. She joined the University as a Contracts Officer in 2015 and takes care of research contracts for the Faculties of Humanities and Social Sciences and Science.

Rhydian Morris – Contracts Officer (REIS) is a non-practicing solicitor, having trained internally at Swansea University Legal Services. Rhydian’s primary background is in commercial contracts and regulatory compliance, with additional experience in many areas of law that affect the higher education sector. Rhydian is the first point of contact for engineering research contracts in the REIS Contracts team.
