A concert of varied music with the renowned Dunvant Male Choir and guests, coupled with an opportunity to join this prestigious choir. The Dunvant Male Choir was established at Ebenezer Chapel, Dunvant, in 1895 where it still rehearses twice a week. The choir boasts to be the oldest continuous singing choir in Wales, having performed uninterrupted locally, nationally and internationally for 127 years.
The bi-lingual concert will include renditions of well-known Welsh favourites, songs from various West-end shows and the odd song to cheer the audience!! The choir will be joined on stage by young local singers from Gower College Swansea.
On the evening, potential new choristers will have an opportunity to embark on the process of joining the choir and to learn about its tour of the USA in 2024!
