To address widening health inequalities in the UK, health promotion must be targeted to marginalised ethnic and cultural groups who have the poorest access to health and wellbeing services. Gypsies, Roma, and Travellers have the worst health outcomes of any ethnic group across many indicators, but little is known about their experiences of alcohol use and harm. Alcohol Change UK funded our research team to find out more. Based upon interviews conducted by peers, Gypsies, Roma, Travellers and Boaters co-produced digital stories to explore how alcohol use relates to their own culture, ethnicity and identity.

Age guidance: Adults only (18+)
