Many people confuse Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes. It’s estimated there are 400,000 sufferers in the UK alone! 96% of children diagnosed with diabetes will have type 1. 85% of sufferers don’t have anyone in the family who has it.
Join us for this awareness session to find out more and to share your experiences of having Type 1 or caring for someone who has it. The session is run by Stu Gray, a member of staff who has Type 1 and Mandy Williams, whose son was diagnosed when he was 12 years old.
