From: 8 Apr 2022, noon
The Department of History, Heritage, and Classics at Swansea University is delighted to be hosting the CA Annual Conference 2022, between 8 and 11 April, on our Singleton Park Campus. It will take place in hybrid fashion, with each panel session being broadcast from its allotted room for remote participants.
We are delighted to be holding two readings as Cultural Events during this Conference. The first features Emily Hauser and Jennifer Saint, whose novels are wonderful recreations of the women of Greek myth, with the up-and-coming poet Katie Byford opening. This will be held at Elysium Gallery at 8pm on Saturday 9 April. The second will be Charlotte Higgins, who has just published a compelling retelling of Greek mythology, from which she will read at 7pm on Sunday 10 April, in the Lord Mayor's Reception Room in Swansea Guildhall
