Nigel Fortt
Hi I’m Nigel and I have over twenty years’ experience at Altro, currently advising customers about social and affordable housing and bathroom adaptations. I work with customers in the West of England and South Wales, from Carmarthenshire across to Bracknell, and Tewkesbury down to the South Coast.

Sharon Cook
Hi I’m Sharon, Altro’s Specification Consultant for South Wales, Bristol & Bath and have worked for Altro for the past ten years.

I’m responsible for helping customers with the specification of Altro’s Flooring & Walling products. I work with Architects, Interior Designers and End Users, mainly within the Health Care and Education Sector.

With an ageing population increasing the number of dementia cases, this CPD has been designed to give delegates an overview of the fundamental aspects of designing for dementia environments.

This session covers:

- symptoms of dementia
- the impact of visual impairment
- the effect of colour and contrast
- Department of Health design guidance
