To: 25 May 2018, 5 p.m.
Location: Faraday Building, Room 504 (Small Talk Room), Park Campus

SA2C Tech Chats are intended to provide a venue for interesting technical discussions relevant to users of High Performance Computing. The approximate format is a 15 minute talk on an interesting technique, tool, or piece of work, followed by open discussion of the topics raised, and of any other topics of interest to those in the room.

Sometimes Python is too slow, and numpy has just not got the feature you need. In this talk I'll show how to use Python ctypes to import your functions written in C. Alternatives will also be reviewed.
