From: 16 May 2018, 7 p.m.Taking the fragment of the apotropaic wand in the Egypt Centre which is kindly on loan from the British Museum, I discuss the possible meanings surrounding these enigmatic artefacts and the strange and wonderful beasts depicted thereon. This includes the so-called ‘serpopard’, part snake and part leopard, or maybe something else entirely?
