Swansea is to run a Wikipedia edit-a -thon. Please join us!

Students, staff and alumni are invited to take part in the first of a series of Wikipedia edit-a-thon’s aimed at raising the visibility of inspiring women and celebrating their achievements.

One of the first women to be added will be Professor Mary Williams, who, according to Swansea University history, is the first female ‘established’ chair at a British University.

This first event will take place on Thursday Sept 28th 2017. No experience necessary, full training on editing Wikipedia will be given. Editors are welcomed to contribute in any language – whether creating new content or translating from other languages.
