Our research changes lives and drives innovation, industrial transformation and regional growth. It impacts our place, culture and society, as well as on our health and wellbeing, our economy and our planet.
Fully funded by the UKRI Impact Acceleration Accounts, our Research and Innovation 2026 event will celebrate and recognise the outstanding research and high-quality impact stemming from our research community as well as our collaborations with a wide range of external stakeholders from public, private and third sector organisations. It recognises our commitment to promoting an inclusive and positive research culture.
The event is planned with an afternoon of interactive sessions, workshops and lightning talks across four themes – One Planet, Health and Wellbeing, Industrial Transformation and Place, Society and Culture.
