The Phoenix Choir of Wales is a modern Male Voice Choir based in Swansea, South Wales who love to sing modern and popular music alongside the more traditional Male Voice Choir repertoire.

We are delighted to return to the Taliesin Arts Centre again this year to feature our favourite songs from the 1960’s, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and beyond, so our theme for 2025 is called ‘Decades’! We will be performing well known songs that we know you will enjoy tapping your feet to as well as singing along with us! We look forward to seeing you all at Taliesin and hope that you’ll have a wonderful evening of song! As usual, we will be joined on stage by the fabulous Phoenix House Band!

Our special guests for our annual concert are the magnificent Schola Cantorum! Schola Cantorum is the vibrant and dynamic mixed-voice choir of Bishop Vaughan Catholic School, comprising talented young singers aged 11-18. Under the direction of Ashley Eynon-Davies, Head of Music, the choir delivers captivating performances across a rich and varied repertoire, ranging from sacred choral works to contemporary pop, musical theatre, and secular pieces.

And to make sure that the evening goes with a real swing, we welcome back our wonderful friend and compere, Kev Johns MBE!
