Scopophobia, Melyn Pictures' debut horror film, directed by Aled Owen, explores guilt and fear through the lens of four women returning to their Welsh hometown, only to confront a mysterious presence that may know their darkest secrets. With a talented all-Welsh cast, the film premiered at London’s FrightFest 2024 and has since been shown in multiple film festivals worldwide, garnering positive reviews for its authentic Welsh setting and intense psychological themes.

This town is haunted. Not by ghosts. By ghost stories.

The film’s haunting soundtrack, created by Carmarthen musician GG Fearn, enhances its eerie atmosphere, aligning with its exploration of paranoia and phobias in a suspenseful narrative. Shot across Wales and other UK locations, Scopophobia exemplifies Melyn Pictures’ commitment to showcasing Welsh culture and talent on the global stage.
