Social Sciences, Humanities and the Arts for People and the Economy (SHAPE)
This session will provide advice on accessing funding to support innovation and commercialisation ideas and impacts across the SHAPE subject areas.
This will include:
Support in identifying and developing funding applications to develop and enhance innovation and commercialisation opportunities.
Guidance in developing the potential or existing impact linked to innovation and commercialisation opportunities.
Tailored guidance on engaging with a diverse range of external potential project partners and beneficiaries across the private, 3rd and voluntary sectors (including for-profit and not-for-profit activities and models).
Learning Outcomes:
1. Identify the readiness level of your research ideas in order to identify appropriate funding calls and opportunities.
2. How to identify and collaborate with external partners and beneficiaries and develop impacts linked to innovation and commercialisation projects.
3. Guidance and advice on identifying and accessing what support is available within the university.
