Equality impact assessments are a tool to help higher education institutions ensure that their policies are fair, meet the needs or their staff and students and that they are not inadvertently discriminating against any particular group. Equality impact assessments are also a requirement of UK equality law.
This session is a basic introduction to Equality Impact Assessments.
Any staff involved in carrying out equality impact assessments. It is a pre-requisite that staff must have completed Unconscious Bias (UB) and Equality, Diversity & Inclusivity (EDI) Training in order to book on to this course.
