From: 12 Aug 2024, 11 a.m.This course is mandatory for all new staff. The course provides an overview of fire safety, the evacuation procedures and fire warden arrangements at the University. On completion of the course you will be a fire warden and will have the information you need to support the evacuation of our buildings.
The aim of this course is to provide:
• An awareness of the risks associated with fire.
• Understand the role of a Fire Warden.
• An understanding of what happens when the fire alarm is activated.
• An understanding of what to do in a fire alarm activation.
Target audience: All new staff.
