Swansea University is very proud to sponsor the Literary Pavilion at the Rhondda Cynon Taf National Eisteddfod 2024 and will be organising various events in the pavilion every day.

This year, the annual lecture in memory of Professor Hywel Teifi Edwards, will be delivered by Professor Daniel G Williams. Daniel is a Professor at Swansea University's English Department, and his subject will be, From the Rhondda to Canaan: J Gwyn Griffiths, Gwyn Thomas and Exodus.

Following the lecture a reception will be held in the Conference Room at Ponty Lido which is on the Eisteddfod grounds. There will be light refreshments and a warm welcome for alumni, staff and friends of Swansea University.
