This training aims to support staff when handling safeguarding disclosures and how to respond to these. There will be a range of different scenarios for staff to read through and respond to; there will be the opportunity to practise what to say when faced with a disclosure and how to respond to different situations when a student may be in crisis.
Aims:
To be able to identify a safeguarding concern
To be confident when handling a disclosure
To understand what an intervention is and your part to play
To know how to keep yourself safe
Open to all staff
