In advance of the International Day of Elimination of Racial Discrimination on the 21st March, Victim Support will be delivering an online Hate Crime Awareness training session via zoom for staff on Wednesday 20th March 12pm - 1pm.
Each course will give a brief overview of what Hate Crime is and its impacts on victims. There will also be an overview of who we are and what our service can provide to support victims of Hate. Each session will be tailored to the event topic to e.g. Pride month will have an extra focus towards LGBTQIA+ victims of hate, Hate Crime Awareness Week (HCAW) will focus on all protected groups equally and the International Day for the Elimination of Race Discrimination (IDFERD) would have a focus towards Racism.
