Rania Vamvaka

Speaker's Biography

Rania Vamvaka (she/her) is a multi-award-winning human rights activist. By day, Rania is the Research and Policy Lead for Llamau and by night, she is the Co-chair of Glitter Cymru. Currently, Rania is finishing her PhD on queer asylum policy. During her spare time, Rania enjoys wild swimming, board games and reading crime fiction.

In collaboration with Swansea University LGBTQ+ network, Public Health Wales’ Enfys and REACH networks are hosting Rania Vamvaka from Glitter Cymru for Bi Visibility Day.

Join us for this very interesting talk.

Rania will discuss how bisexual forced migrants exist within the current asylum system and will present the lived experiences.
