A special event to greet the Bard Alan Llwyd

During the Llŷn ac Eifionydd National Eisteddfod 2023 Professor Alan Llwyd, Department of Welsh, won his third Eisteddfod Chair! One of Wales’ most prominent poets for generations, he managed to win the 'double', namely the Chair and the Crown in the same year - twice - in 1973 and 1976. He is the first poet since the relaxation of the ‘twice only’ rule to win the Chair for the third time.

A special event will be held to greet the Bard on Tuesday evening, October 17 at the Calon Lân Centre, Mynyddbach.
