Race Equality Charter Launch: A Celebration of Diversity of Research at Swansea University
Friday 09th December, 12-2pm, Council Chamber, Singleton Abbey.
We value and are committed to race equality at the University, and want to use the talents of each and every individual working or studying here.
With the Race Charter Mark we are working towards creating a comprehensive and strategic approach to improve the representation, progression and success of minority ethnic staff and students within higher education. At this event we will be launching the Charter, and celebrating the diversity of research at Swansea University with a number of TED-style talks.
Please come and help us celebrate the launch of the Race Equality Charter. The event is open to all, with free lunch provided from midday. I encourage all staff to show your support and learn more about the Race Equality Charter at Swansea University. I would also request line managers to be supportive of staff who wish to attend.
