Are You Living Your Best Life?: On 'Well-Being'

What does it mean for life to go ‘well’ or ‘badly’? Is well-being a matter of experiencing pleasure, having your preferences satisfied, achieving worthwhile goals, or something else entirely? This talk will examine philosophers’ attempts to define the nature of well-being, from hedonism to perfectionism. If you’ve ever wondered what your best life, or even just what a good life, might entail, this talk is for you.
