A growing number of researchers spend time building software. Software Carpentry teaches researchers the fundamental skills that will help them be more productive while producing work of higher quality. In the workshop students learn how to automate tasks using the Unix shell, how to track and share work using version control, how to and write software in Python.

You will need to bring your laptop along for this session.
