This July we are holding an exciting free event at Oriel Science in Swansea town centre steps away from Castle Square. Visitors will have the chance to experience the amazing hands on exhibits at the gallery. Information on further learning opportunities will be available. There will also be a series of sessions that can be booked either online, or in person at the Gallery on the day.
Swansea University want to empower and support people over the age of 21 living in Swansea and Southwest Wales onto their first steps towards university study. We are also putting our spotlight on people who care for someone, and what we can do to help those to consider returning to formal learning.
Sessions:
Session 1 | Listen to Stories from Swansea’s Past and Present | 10.30am to 11am
Session 2 | Cut Up Poetry Word Play | 11.30am to 12pm
Session 3 | Secrets of Mummification | 12.30pm to 1pm
Session 4 | Lego for Mindfulness | 1.30pm to 2pm
