This UKAT interactive workshop will draw on the scholarship of mentoring and offer a practical focus on:

Academic mentoring as teaching and learning
Academic mentoring as an intentional, purposeful process for student development
A design approach for flipped mentoring activities
Examples of flipped mentoring
The workshop will be supported with online resources in a Canvas course.

The presenters will assume that participants have previously participated in workshop 1 of this series (12th May 2021 - Defining the Purpose of Academic Mentoring), or will have engaged with the online resources for that workshop.
