We’re pleased to announce that we will be back with a new exhibition venue in the heart of Swansea city centre and will open on Saturday the 22nd of May from 10am to 4pm!
This new venue will build on the success of Oriel Science’s pop-up venue on Princess Way which welcomed almost 16,000 visitors and over a thousand children during its 100 opening days in 2016-17.
Entry to the venue in Castle Street (a minute’s walk from Castle Square) is free and will feature two exhibitions entitled ‘Movement and Motion’ and ‘Swansea University’s Response to Covid-19’.
As a result of the pandemic, visiting us is going to be a bit different than we first thought. Your safety is our top priority so that’s why we’ve put in place several Covid-19 safety measures throughout our venue.
All we ask of you when you visit us is:
1. Wear a face covering. If you’re exempt, evidence will be required on entry
2. Sanitise your hands on entry (sanitiser is provided!)
3. Adhere to social distancing and follow our one way system
