The session will be delivered by our European Adviser contact from the UK Research Office (UKRO), a European Office of UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), which aims to maximise UK engagement with EU funding schemes. UKRO European Advisors keep track of the latest developments in EU funding programmes and have a wealth of knowledge and experience in how to apply for, win and manage European funding.
The session will provide a high-level introduction to the Horizon Europe Research and Innovation Framework Programme, further to the announcement that the UK intends to finalise association to Horizon Europe. Although the presentation will not provide granular detail on specific call topics or dates, it will seek to outline the range of funding opportunities available under the Framework and where to find further information.
The session will also detail the support available from UKRO, Swansea University (REIS) and Welsh Government Horizon Europe office to help you apply for European Horizon Funding.

Attendees will gain a general overview understanding of the Horizon Europe Research and Innovation Framework Programme and the funding opportunities within. In addition attendees will understand what support is available to them to develop a research proposal and how to access further information.

The webinar is intended for researchers and supporting staff who wish to familiarise themselves with the basic structure of the Horizon Europe Research and Innovation Framework programme.
