SpeakerEllie Downes, Research Librarian
From: 17 Mar 2021, 11 a.m.
This session takes you through how the process works, what you should do and when (e.g. publishing open access and needing funding for an APC)
Publishing in academic journals is a key element of academia, and increasingly researchers are starting to publish earlier in their careers including chapters or reworked elements of their PhD theses. However, the actual process of submitting can be confusing to the un-initiated. This session aims to walk you through the basic steps from submission to publication, and address some terms first-time authors may be unfamiliar and alarming with such as 'Article Processing Charges'
