Speaker's Biography

Huw is the Head of Research Grants in REIS and a Chartered Accountant . He has over 20 years experience working in EU funding and in supporting and advising project teams in this area.

This will be an update session for staff working on ERDF/ESF projects for the 2014-2020 Structural Funds Programme

We will touch on the set up of new projects if required

The course will give an overview of the support available through REIS and an update on recent interactions and thinking from WEFO.
• Making a claim to the funder
• Handling and managing budgets
• Building up good evidence trails
• Record keeping and archiving
• Closure of projects
• Managing and preparing for a Project Audit
