Since March of this year, the Egypt Centre has been closed because of the COVID-19 pandemic. During this time, the Egypt Centre staff have instead been working hard on engaging with online audiences, introducing many new (international) people to the collection. To thank everyone for the support these last nine months, we have organised a special Zoom tour of the Egypt Centre collection, including access to its store. Join the Collections Access Manager, Dr Ken Griffin, for this free tour, which will be followed by celebratory drinks and a chat. The tour will last between 2–2.30 hours with a short 5 minute break between the galleries and the store visit. The Zoom room will open 15 minutes before the start of the tour.

Tickets for the event are essential, with 500 places available. While the tickets are free, you do have the option of making a donation with your ticket. You will receive an automated email from Eventbrite confirming your booking and providing the Zoom link. Please make sure to check your junk folder if you haven't received anything within 24 hours.
