Dr Louise Bright, Director of Research and Business Engagement at the University of South Wales

Speaker's Biography

Dr Bright recently undertook a six month study in the Department of Children, Education and Lifelong Learning in the Welsh Assembly Government to explore ways in which Research Council income secured by Welsh Universities could be increased. She also co-established the Wales Women in STEM initiative in September 2019 – this platform now has over 150 members with exciting projects planned for the forthcoming year.
