Swansea University Centenary Lecture Series
Sponsored by Swansea Building Society

Curated and chaired by Professor Owen Sheers

Join us for a special evening of readings and conversation with poet Raymond Antrobus, winner of the 2019 Ted Hughes Award, Sunday Times Young Writers Award and the Rathbones Folio Prize for his debut collection The Perseverance. Arresting, challenging and generous Antrobus’s poems move through continents and history to create a stunning collection of verve, empathy and craft that encompasses issues of deafness, masculinity, dementia, race and heritage. Introduced with a selection from 'The d Monologues' by Swansea University Creativity Fellow Kaite O Reilly, performed by Sara Beer and with a Q&A chaired by Professor Owen Sheers. This event will be BSL interpreted.

There will be a book signing after the event.
