The Swansea University Orchestra has a long-term collaboration with the acclaimed Welsh Sinfonia as part of their Crescendo project. This has brought in professional expertise to support the development of the student orchestra, helping the orchestra grow and improve. This year’s joint concert features music by Telemann, Vaughan Williams, Rossini (Overture to L’Italiana in Algeri), Borodin (Polovtsian Dances), Leonard Bernstein (Three Dance Episodes from On The Town), and Elmer Bernstein (The Magnificent Seven).
