Speaker's Biography

“Over the last two decades, the drug scene has evolved dramatically with novel psychoactive substances (NPS) emerging at an unprecedented rate. Their emergence has been associated with numerous challenges hindering their detection. Identification of these substances is crucial to inform treatment decision making in emergency settings as well as informing drug policy. This talk will present the challenges in their detection and novel research approaches developed to enhance their detection in the field.”
