Join us for an evening of interdisciplinary discussion and exploration as we introduce the first academic/ artist pairings of the Cultural Institute’s Creativity Fellowships.

Created by writer and Professor in Creativity Owen Sheers, the Creativity Fellowships are an exciting new initiative that offers two professional artists the chance to engage with and explore cutting-edge academic research at Swansea University. Each artist will have 12 months to immerse themselves in a chosen research project, before creating new works of art to be unveiled in December 2020.

Chaired by Professor in Creativity Owen Sheers, Playwright Kaite O Reilly (The Persians) will be in conversation with social historian Prof David Turner followed by Sky Arts Landscape Artist of the Year Peter Matthews in conversation with marine biologist Dr. Ruth Callaway.

6pm - 7.30pm followed by audience Q & A and celebratory launch drinks
