Swansea University is delighted to be sponsoring the GwyddonLe science pavilion at the Urdd Eisteddfod again this year. This “science pavilion” is one of the Eisteddfod’s most popular attractions, drawing thousands of visitors on each of the six days of the festival. Visitors to the Eisteddfod, held in Cardiff Bay between 27 May and 1 June, will have the opportunity to enjoy a variety of activities from the world of science, technology and digital under the leadership of Swansea University’s scientists. The GwyddonLe's theme this year is 'The Sea' Among this year's activities, Swansea University will launch its new research vessel, the RV Mary Anning, on Monday 27 May. The vessel will be moored in the Bay, and visitors will have the opportunity to take a tour of it to see the kind of research it can carry out and the type of trips it can make.
