We are delighted to be welcoming Dr Chris Gilleard and Dr Paul Higgs of UCL, who are coming to Swansea to deliver a seminar entitled The Social Divisions of Later Life: Classes and corporeal categories.

Later life is no longer the clearly defined stage of life it once was. Rather it has become marked by increasing diversity, new forms of identity and distinct life styles. These have exacerbated old forms of inequality and led to the emergence of new divisions in later life.

This free seminar addresses two of those social divisions: one related to social class, the other related to corporeal distinction. It will be held in the Margam Suite at the Dragon Hotel, Swansea SA1, from 2-4pm on Wednesday 3rd April. We have just 50 spaces, so prior booking is essential. Full details are available on our website. Please click here to reserve a seat: http://www.cadr.cymru/en/event-info.htm?id=145

We hope you will be able to join us for this prestigious event.
