Swansea University’s Morgan Academy and the Wales Institute of Social and Economic Research, Data and Methods (WISERD) are organising a conference focusing on the nature of city deals, whether they are effective in driving sustainable regional economic growth.

This half day event, from 12:15 – 17:30, will provide an opportunity to discuss the strategic nature of city deals and to learn from research and practice across the UK and internationally. The event’s speakers will highlight the key policy implications of city deals and provoke a discussion on the challenges and opportunities these new structures present.
