Lecture begins: 6.30 pm (reception from 6.00pm)

For his valedictory lecture Derek Connon returns to an author who has interested him throughout his career, Jean Cocteau, and his play of 1937 about the knights of the Round Table, which Cocteau said came to him in a dream. In keeping with Derek's interest in music, more than one musician will also find his way into the lecture.
