Swansea University is kicking off the Swansea Science Festival at the Waterfront Museum with an evening event on Friday 8 September.
Aimed at an audience aged 16+ there will be a range of talks and workshops that explore cutting-edge research on diverse and exciting topics such as:
- Extremism and the internet
- Dream drawings
- Post-truth and climate change
- 16th century gun culture
- Innovations in treating mood disorders
- Animal testing and the law.
The event will also feature BBC presenter and evolutionary biologist Dr Ben Garrod talking about Great Apes and culminates in a Variety Night of science, fun and entertainment.
The event runs from 3.30pm until late and the bar and café will be open.
All tickets are free, but booking for some events is recommended.
