Location: Abbey Meadow, Swansea University, SA2 8PP, Park Campus
The purpose of the event is primarily to bring the community in Swansea and the surrounding areas together to celebrate the day of Eid together as a Fun packed Family day out. We also wish to highlight our ‘unity in diversity’ as we showcase our cultural diversity and dismantle stereotypes. We aim to bridge various BME communities together along with the wider population.
The project works toward furthering Swansea's objective of community cohesion whilst raising the profile of the various ethnicities within the city.
The event is open to ALL and we expect around 1500 people to be beneficiaries of the day’s event. The project is a youth lead project and is not for profit!
