UNESCO believes that where cultural diversity is in conflict with other human rights values, ‘it is necessary to analyse and balance wisely’. The question for conference participants is how to achieve that wisdom and find positive outcomes.

Participants can expect to engage in a range of group and individual workshop activities, discussion panels and discursive debate. Sessions will be facilitated by experienced practitioners and academics.

The conference has been divided into a number of key spokes including:

• Climate change

• Mental health

• Reproduction and motherhood

• Child health and organ donation

• Cultural diversity and health

• Migration

The event is open to students, academics, health and medical practitioners and all interested individuals.
