County Youth Dance Company
County Youth Dance Company will perform three new contemporary dance works in their annual visit to Taliesin. With support from sister company West Glamorgan Youth Theatre Company, Taliesin, Bishop Gore School and YMCA Swansea CYDC bring together dancers from a number of comprehensive schools and colleges from across South Wales.
The dancers are aged between 13-21 years old and have shown a talent and flair in contemporary dance and choreography. The work has been created by the young dancers and local choreographers Luke Ganz and Rebecca Edwards. We also welcome back our Graduate Company – the Graduates’ comprise of CYDC dancers who have gone on to study in higher education – they return to work with us for four days to create a piece for this evening.
