Holocaust Memorial Day will officially be marked on Sunday, 27th January 2019. To commemorate this day, we are holding an event on Thursday, 24th January 2019 at the SURF room, First Floor Fulton house, Singleton Campus, from 12:00 to 13:00.

Our guest speakers will be:

Mr Paul M Joseph, Lecturer at the College of Human and Health Sciences, will be delivering a talk entitled, ‘Why we must never forget’.

Mrs Chantal Patel, Lecturer and Head of Department Inter-Professional Health Studies from the College of Human and Health Sciences will focus on “Holocaust and racism – the continuing story”.

Dr Alys Einion, Associate Professor from the College of Human and Health Sciences will read a memorial poem and talk about what has been learnt about equality and human rights for LGBT+ people.
